Creativity this Easter at Goldfinch Holiday Art Clubs
This Easter, we welcomed children to a series of joyful, hands on holiday art clubs filled with creativity, imagination, and plenty of making. Across five themed sessions, children explored construction, collage, jewellery making and illustration, with each day offering something completely unique.
Spring Crafts
We began the week with spring themed construction, where children brought recycled materials to life. They created giant cardboard bunnies wrapped in colourful wool, imaginative baby animals and playful lollipop stick creatures.
The Magic Faraway Tree
Our second session took inspiration from The Magic Faraway Tree. Children designed and built their own magical treehouses, complete with painted wooden birds and tiny handmade characters to live among the branches. Each creation became a miniature world full of storytelling and charm.
Friendship Bracelets and Macramé
Our jewellery workshop offered a calmer, mindful pace. Children explored macramé, paper bead making and friendship bracelets, designing their own wearable creations to take home or gift to someone special.
Comic Book Illustration
We ended the week with a comic book illustration day, perfect for children who love drawing and storytelling. Children created their own mini comics, explored character design and storyboarding, and finished with still life sketching and collage inspired by their illustrations.
A Week Full of Creativity
Across all sessions, children created beautiful, unique pieces to take home while developing new skills, building confidence and enjoying time with others through creativity. It was a week full of colour, laughter and inspiring ideas, and we cannot wait to do it all again at the next holiday club.
