Create and Play in February Half Term!

Children will have the freedom to explore and create, inspired by nature. Whether through painting, play dough, sculpting, messy play, collage, or big-scale group art, Create and Play is about having fun, creating together, and developing listening skills as well as a connection to the natural world through craft. Each Holiday Create and Play will have its own special theme, from bubble wrap butterflies to nature wands, paper birds and turtles, we will provide everything your child needs to get creative and play!

February’s Half Term Create and Play will be daffodil focused! Children will be able to make mini cup case daffodils and decorate daffodil baskets, create a flower garden in one tuff tray (with mini stones to decorate and add in too) and dig for minibeasts in our other tuff tray garden.

Our Create and Play sessions usually run term time, but due to popular demand we’ve decided to offer them in the holidays too. If you are a regular, we look forward to seeing you, if you are new to Goldfinch, we can’t wait to introduce you to these playful creative sessions! After your session why not grab something in our cafe. From fresh fruit smoothies to sourdough sandwiches, our menu has lots to choose from for adults and children.

Age Requirement:
If your child is aged 3 + feel free to drop off. For the under 3’s you are required to stay and co create with your child.

What’s Provided:

Art aprons to protect clothing from any messy artistic endeavours.

What to Wear:

We encourage participants to dress comfortably and be prepared for a bit of messiness. However, worry not, as we will provide art aprons to ensure that everyone stays clean and tidy.
