Create and Play this February Half Term, Squirrels!

Welcome to a February filled with creativity, sensory exploration, and curious squirrel families! This session, we’ll be diving into the wonderful world of woodland life as we craft our very own squirrel finger puppets—perfect for imaginative play and storytelling.

Children will learn all about how squirrels build their nests, gather food, and prepare for the changing seasons, collecting conkers, acorns, and other treasures along the way. Our sensory trays will be transformed into cozy squirrel homes, complete with leaves, twigs, and hidden forest creatures waiting to be discovered. Through hands-on play, art, and gentle learning, little ones will explore textures, colours, and nature’s rhythms!

If your child is aged 3+ feel free to drop off. For children under 3, you are required to stay and co-create with your child.

What to Wear:

We encourage participants to dress comfortably and be prepared for a bit of messiness. However, worry not—we will provide art aprons to ensure that everyone stays clean and tidy.
