Jewellery Making Easter Holiday Art Club

A new club we’ve been itching to host, this holiday club is for any kids wanting to experiment with jewellery making. We’ll be using fimo to create our very own beads to thread onto leather necklaces, have fun beading bracelets and experiment with foil jewellery too! We’ll also be experimenting with washer necklaces, hand painted and threaded with feature beads.

Jewellery Making Easter Holiday Art Club Information:

Dates: Tuesday 8th April
Time: 10am – 3pm
Cost: £50 per child / sibling discounts available

For ages 5 – 10 years

What they’ll take away:

• • Hand made fimo pendant!

  • Foil jewellery and cuff bracelet

What they’ll get up to:

10am – 10 30am
Make a name badge/art icebreakers
After introductions, we’ll be using pastels, cardboard, vinyl and sharpies to spark their creativity.

10 30am – 11 30am
Fimo Pendant
Each child will be offered fimo clay to create a unique pendant, this could be an insect, a shape, favourite animal or character from a book. We’ll pop them in the oven whilst they choose the rest of the beads to string onto their pendant necklace.

11 30am – 12pm SNACK TIME

12pm – 1pm
Painted cuff bracelet
Using foil and cardboard, we’ll teach the kids techniques to create superhero cuff bracelets or something decorative to wear on their wrists or arms.

1pm – 1 30pm LUNCH

1 30pm – 2pm
Friendship bracelets
Staws, beads and foil will be on offer to create a bracelet to give to someone special

2pm – 3pm
Washer Necklace
First step design, the kids will illustrate a few ideas for their pendant necklaces. Nex up using exciting scrapstore objects and cardboard they will create the elements to hang on their pendants.

What to Wear:

We encourage participants to dress comfortably and be prepared for a bit of messiness. However, worry not, as we will provide art aprons to ensure that everyone stays clean and tidy.

Lunch and snacks

Bring along a packed lunch, snacks and water bottle, no nuts please. Alternatively you are welcome to order a Pinkmans lunch box when you arrive in the morning, it includes a cheese or ham sandwich, raisins and a juice box.
