Learn to knit with Jacki from the Woolly Badger – for ages 7 – 12

For 7 to 12 year olds (drop off option)
This is a drop off session, but adults are welcome to stay. There will be some spare needles and yarn available if grown-ups want to give it a try too!

Based on Amy’s original design each participant will have a blank doll to decorate and embellish. Height approx 30cm when finished.

ALL materials will be provided & much of it is recycled.

Learn the basics of knitting, and make a colourful striped bookmark in this workshop with local mum and knitting teacher Jacki Badger.

Over the course of 2 hours, we’ll learn:
·      how to cast on and get started with knitting
·      how to work the basic knit stitch
·      how to change colours
·      and how to cast off.

With all materials provided, you’ll leave with your very own knitted bookmark – and the needles and yarn to carry on knitting!
