Create and Play this Summer, Boat Making!

Set sail for a fun and imaginative holiday art club inspired by boats, movement and playful design. In this hands-on session, children will design and build their own floating-style boats using simple construction techniques, combining card, vinyl and stickers. Using sticks, sponges and lightweight materials, they’ll explore how to assemble their boats and bring them to life with bright patterns, cut shapes and layered details.

This activity encourages problem-solving and creativity as children experiment with balance, structure and design, while also giving them the freedom to personalise their boats in their own unique way. By the end, they’ll leave with a colourful, characterful boat creation, full of personality and ready to sail!

What to Wear:

We encourage participants to dress comfortably and be prepared for a bit of messiness. However, worry not, we will provide art aprons to ensure that everyone stays clean and tidy.
