Summer Holidays Mini Makers – Hot Air Balloons

Overview:

It’s August and we are well and truly into the summer holidays, at last! With the Bristol Balloon fiesta coming up we decided to turn this session into a paper balloon making workshop! Folded coloured card, ribbon, cardboard boxes, stickers and string are the ingredients for this super creative session.

We’ll provide everything you need to create from the Scrapstore, a reuse charity dedicated to helping businesses divert reusable waste from landfills so that establishments like ours and many others can provide art and play opportunities.

Our Mini Maker sessions usually run term time, but we have decided to offer 2 days per week for the month of August. If you are a regular, we look forward to seeing you, if you are new to Goldfinch, we can’t wait to introduce you to these playful creative sessions! After your session why not grab something in our cafe. From fresh fruit smoothies to sourdough sandwiches, our menu has lots to choose from for adults and children. 

Age Requirement:

If your child is aged 3 + feel free to drop off. For the under 3’s you are required to stay and co create with your child.

What’s Provided:

Art aprons to protect clothing from any messy artistic endeavours.

What to Wear:

We encourage participants to dress comfortably and be prepared for a bit of messiness. However, worry not, as we will provide art aprons to ensure that everyone stays clean and tidy.
