Bring Goldfinch Art Clubs into your school and offer pupils a unique opportunity to explore creativity in a calm, nurturing environment. Our nature-inspired sessions for Reception to Year 2 are led by experienced teachers and designed to spark imagination, build confidence, and support wellbeing. Designed for Reception to Year 2 Pupils
Each after-school workshop begins with a gentle introduction to the day’s nature-inspired theme, helping children feel settled and curious. We share a short “Facts in Five” moment to spark interest, followed by a demonstration of the materials and techniques they’ll be using. Children are then invited into a hands-on creative session, where they can explore, experiment, and make at their own pace with guidance and encouragement throughout.
The atmosphere is relaxed and child-led, allowing space for imagination and individual expression. As the session comes to a close, children are encouraged to share their creations, celebrating each other’s work in a positive and supportive environment. We often finish with a story linked to the theme, creating a calm and reflective end to a joyful, creative experience.
