Nature-inspired creative clubs for Reception to Year 2 led by experienced teachers.
We are currently offering our Nature-inspired Afterschool Art Clubs at Westbury on Trym C of E Academy on Wednesday afternoons between 3 20pm and 4 30pm. If your child is in Year 1 or Year 2 feel free to book your child’s place for our upcoming terms below. We invite Reception children to join from January 2027.

Nature-Inspired Kids Art Clubs for reception to year 2
What we offer
- Weekly after-school art and craft clubs inspired by nature and the seasons
- Designed for Reception to Year 2 pupils
- Small group sizes, with a maximum of 15 children
- All art materials and resources provided
- £10 per session, booked directly through Goldfinch Create & Play
- Sessions run after school until 4.30pm
- Sessions led by an experienced primary school teacher with 20+ years teaching experience
- All facilitators hold Enhanced DBS certificates
What children experience
Each session combines creativity, learning and imaginative fun. Children are introduced to a nature-inspired theme before exploring tools, materials and creative techniques in a supportive, playful environment.
- Introduction to a nature theme
- Short “Facts in Five” nature insight
- Demonstration of tools, materials and examples
- 50-minute creative making session
- Sharing and celebration of artwork
- Story linked to the theme
Creative activities may include
Painting, collage, drawing, watercolour, air-dry clay, puppet making, yarn wrapping and creative construction using recycled materials.
Children explore themes such as animal life cycles, migration, seasons, birds, insects, seasonal flowers and plants, helping them connect creativity with the natural world.

Kids Art Club for Ages 4 – 7 years are on a Tuesday and Wednesday at 4pm and ages 6 – 10 on a Monday at 4pm. School term time only.
