Create and Play this Summer, Kites!

Join us for a playful and imaginative holiday art club where children will explore colour, texture and making through a mix of craft and sensory activities. In this session, children will design and create their own paper bag kites, using collage materials, tape and flowing ribbons to build bright, characterful designs that move and flutter beautifully.

This activity encourages creativity and confidence as children experiment with layering, pattern and composition, making their kites truly their own. Alongside the main craft, children will explore sensory trays filled with shaving foam, offering a soft, squishy and calming space to swirl colours, make marks and enjoy open-ended play. They’ll also have the chance to create playful “ice cream cones,” combining scoops, textures and colours in a fun, imaginative activity inspired by summer treats.

What to Wear:

We encourage participants to dress comfortably and be prepared for a bit of messiness. However, worry not, we will provide art aprons to ensure that everyone stays clean and tidy.
