10am – 10.30am: Make a Printed Wooden Badge Icebreaker

After introductions, children will design and create their own wearable wooden badge using stencils and acrylic pens. They can personalise their piece with patterns, symbols or initials—something that represents them or could be gifted to a new friend. This gentle, creative activity helps everyone settle in, start conversations and feel part of the group.

10.30am – 11.30am: Friendship Bracelets

Children will learn how to make their own friendship bracelets using colourful threads and simple knotting techniques. They’ll explore patterns, colour combinations and repetition, building confidence as they create their own wearable designs.

11.30am – 12pm: Snack Time

12pm – 1pm: Paper Bead Necklaces

Children will create their own paper beads using patterned and coloured paper, learning how to roll and shape beads before sealing and threading them into necklaces. They’ll experiment with colour, size and arrangement to design their own unique jewellery pieces.

1pm – 1.30pm: Lunch

1.30pm – 2.30pm: Caterpillar Button Keyrings

Children will use colourful buttons and thread to create playful caterpillar keyrings. They’ll explore sequencing, colour and simple construction techniques to build their designs, resulting in a fun and practical accessory they can take home.

2.30pm – 3pm: Pipe Cleaner Dragonflies

Lastly, children will create delicate dragonflies using pipe cleaners and beads, shaping and assembling their materials into simple 3D forms. They’ll add colour and detail to bring their creations to life.
